Listed below are the past Chiefs of the Borough Of Marcus Hook.


Anthony Gallo was appointed a patrolman for the Marcus Hook Police Department in April of 1950. After working for 12 years as a patrolman, Officer Gallo was appointed to Sergeant in January of 1962. In May of 1965 Sergeant Gallo was appointed Chief of police, where he remained until retirement on July 30, 1983.


George A. McClure was appointed a patrolman for the Marcus Hook Police Department in 1966. After working for 12 years as a patrolman, Officer McClure was appointed to Sergeant in 1978. In 1984 Sergeant McClure was appointed Chief of police, where he remained until retirement in 1991.


James R. Padgett was appointed a patrolman for the Marcus Hook Police Department on February 3, 1986. After working for 9 years as a patrolman, Officer Padgett was appointed Chief of police on June 5, 1995, where he remained until retirement on December 3, 2008.
